Department of Computer Engineering
The department of Computer Engineering was started in 2012 with intake 60. Diploma in Computer Engineering is a course designed for to achieve academic competency in Computer engineering by using modern practices, industrial interactions through expert lecture & industry visits.
The faculty of Computer Department is working with a sense of responsibility and dedication to excel and achieve success in this era of Computer Engineering. Department helps students acquire skills and knowledge to become an IT professional in future.
The course duration is of 3 and it is the combination and theoretical and practical concept and finds its implementation in IT firm, communication sector, research and development, medical field etc. Also, department is committed to motivate students for lifelong learning.

The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn, and where you learn to play a crucial role in developing one's intellectual capability, besides career. The primary focus of the department is to empower our students with overall development. The impact of technological advancements on human life is not complete without the role of computer engineering, along all axes. Hence along with academic knowledge, SGDTP also trains its Engineers to face the challenges in life by providing many value-added courses to enhance their career prospects.

I have completed diploma at SGDTP Gove, Kolad in Computer Engineering 2020-21. Campus is peaceful and very good for students. All facilities are provided for students like Internet, Bus Facility etc. The college has huge library with technical as well as non-technical books.Our Computer department has talented, enthusiastic and supportive faculty. Teaching of each faculty is very good. Technical and non-technical events are organized for students. Various programs like personality development , etc were arranged by training and placement department for students skill development. Overall campus and department are very good for students.
